This will be a compilation of material from the early 1800's though 2007, with approximately 200 -300 pages. Everyone has a family history, and even if you recently moved to the county, we want yours! Give date family came to Knox County; indicate from what state or country, interesting stories from childhood, include marriages, children, job, military, education, organizations participated in, etc. Write in third person. The family history must be written in 500 words or less; there will be a charge of 15 cents per word for all over 500. Please submit your story typed on 8½ by 11 inch paper, double spaced if possible. Sign your name to your history.
Please Send one Photograph. Can be current or historic to be used with your family story, an extra photograph can be included for only $15.00. Photos need to be of good quality as they will be handled many times. Be sure to write your name and address on the back. All Photographs will be returned once the book is published.
For a copy of our brochure email your name, address to one of the people above and they will send you one. You may also print this form out and mail the order form below by checking the appropriate boxes along with your check to cover the fees.
