Knoxville the Next Generation 1981-2006
This is book chuck full of chuck full of many color, plus, the old black & white photos of yester years. Anyone who lived in Knoxville, IL, would be very proud to add this to their library collection. It is on the families of Knoxville from 1981 -- 2006. Was put together by Rose Burgess, Sally Hutchcroft, Frances Sanford, and Margaret Young for their 175 year celebration in 2006. What a book it is surely is too.

Dedication--------Again, as we did for
the Sesquicentennial book, Knoxville Through Five Generations, we dedicate this
terquasquicentennial book to the citizens of Knoxville---- past, present and
future. We dedicate it to past citizens who worked with vision and spirit to make, and later to make it grow, a town from the open prairie. We dedicate it to all the present citizens, each of whom deserves recognition for lives of service--- We dedicate it to future citizens who will continue to envision Knoxville as "a place to call home." |
