McCallister Cemetery is located in the southwest quarter of Section 12, Orange Township, Knox County, IL. The property in 1981 was owned by Paul Dean Clark. Many of the Stones have been set upright and cemented onto their bases. Todd Walter of Maquon, IL, restored this cemetery sometime in the year of 2000 or 2001; told to me by Todd.

The first burials in this cemetery seem to be that of the 2 infants of the McCallister Family.

To find this cemetery, head out of Knoxville, Illinois, on IL State Route #97 going towards Maquon. Keep going until just before a curve in the road and the Gilson intersection 4 way. You will see the cemetery that is set back from the road. There are white Gates and an entrance from the Illinois State Hwy. #97. You will have to open them to drive back there or walk back to the cemetery. It sets in a Grove of trees south easternly from the road.
