*ANNOUNCEMENT*

The Peoria County Genealogical Society has recently launched a Family Bible Records project to collect and preserve the family record pages of the old family Bibles.  We will be  indexing and publishing the records for genealogists searching for information about their ancestors.  This project is all encompassing and not restricted to just  Peoria County.  We will index any and all family Bibles from Peoria and the surrounding area.  We want to preserve the family histories contained in these old Bibles.

Anyone having an old family Bible should get in contact with us.  We can explain the procedures and answer any questions you may have.  Please use the following email address pcgsbibleproject@yahoo.com.
