The Daily Review, Monmouth ILL, September 12, 1907 Kirkwood, Sept. 12 – Diadamia Vandenburg died last night, 88 years, 8 months and a few days. Suffering with a malignant growth on the face for some years. She and her husband, Everett Vandenburg, came from New York nearly fifty years ago. Everett died twenty-five years ago. Survived by, Mrs. Henry Engler, moved here with her husband, from Kansas City last winter to care for her mother, one son, Will, lives in Baraboo, Wis. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church.Diadamia (Campbell) Vandenburg (The obit had her name spelled wrong, plus Evert's name, too.) the family bible had it spelled this way. ***Note from Gloria.... © by Gloria Jackson 2004
