           The above photos the one with the iron gates it the first entrance to the cemetery.  The Lenox Union Cemetery sign if on the Berwick Road.  You follow the road from Cameron straight south it curves some until you come to a stop sign.  Then turn right towards Berwick.  Just before you get into Berwick on the left hand side of the road you will see the Lenox Union Cemetery sign above.  You then turn right and follow the road.  It goes to a dead end where the cemetery is located.  Will post a map with driving directions at a later time and link from here to the Warren County Blogger on Index page.  The will be available for printing by you or saving to your hard drive to print out later. 

                 I have been there quite a few times by myself, with my dog, or my daughter & great-nephew.  I have photos of almost every tombstone in the cemetery.  Some of them will be posted her with a linking page from the one.  This list of the tombstones inscriptions is as accurate as possible also, should have all the new burials in this cemetery listed. Teresa and I have made every effort possible to bring to you correct accurate information. However, we are only human, and if you should find an error feel free to email me to let me know.  you may find I sent a copy of the tombstones inscriptions to Teresa Smith of Oregon, along with photos on CD and then other photos I had taken at an earlier time.  Teresa transcribed them from the listings and then from the photos.   The layout of this cemetery you can thank Teresa for.  She designed it herself   So everyone give a big     for her time and effort in making this webpage listing available for your viewing.  . Also, Teresa is looking for the burial place of Margret Doyel Smith Ray.  She was first married to a David Smith who died, and then married Richard Ray who we believe is buried in this cemetery.            The Lenox Union Cemetery is located near the north line of the south west quarter of Section 35 in Lenox Township.  In June 1877, Garland Ray gave the land for the original cemetery to the Union Baptist Church, which was then situated south of the cemetery.  The Lenox Cemetery Association was formed in September 1897.  In March 1898, Marshall Bedford Ray deed the first addition to the Lenox Cemetery Association in April 1956.  In September 1977, a second addition was acquired for future development.  The cemetery is approximately 2 acres in size, surrounded by a fence and very well maintained.
