Little
York Cemetery
Little York Cemetery is located in the
southwest quarter of Section 21 in Sumner Twp.
It is situated in the town of Little
York, Il. Although there
were earlier burials, the land was not deeded to the Little York Cemetery Association
until March 3, 1923 by H. L. Martin
and February 6, 1924 by the Village of
Little York, Il., with both deeds being recorded March 20,
1924. The cemetery is approximately 3
acres in size and is well maintained.
