    Monmouth Cemetery is the amalgamation of the old Glendale Cemetery & the Monmouth Cemetery together. As the population grew in Monmouth so did both cemeteries and finally joining together. Will put history here when I find my old 1886 Portrait & Biographical Album of Warren County, Illinois. I'm in the process of moving my office, my parents are home and need to be where they can have 24 hour care but you can't tell them that.  So, I'm just a busy little beaver; plus, working in the Greenbush cemetery and planning on the Horney Cemetery in the next few weeks. I do know the Monmouth Cemetery is 65 acres of our beloved ancestor's last resting place with many of the older tombstones in very bad shape or not even visible anymore.  Hard to tell where they are.
