The Point Pleasant Cemetery is located in the southeast corner of the northeast quarter in Section 14 in Point Pleasant Township.  Years ago this cemetery may have been know as the Colfax Cemetery.  This burial area originated in the mid-1800's and continues in use today.  It is well maintained by the Point Pleasant Cemetery Association.  In July 1983, the Point Pleasant Cemetery inscriptions were identified as:

This cemetery is easy to get to Go down RT 67 south out of Monmouth.  You stay on RT 67 past Roseville then take 50th street to 35.  They are all gravel roads and very dusty when we have had no rain at all.  I'm in the prossess of walking this cemetery to make sure the list I have is correct and also to see if there are any new burials...
