Here on his grave my father will always
have a Flag flying forever. He did as I grew up and he will now as he rests
in Heaven for the rest of his family to join him.
Tribute to my Father:

Ormand "Andy" Edward Anderson was born on October 20, 1924, near Bradford,
IL, to Edward Bruce and Lona Olna Kelley Anderson, both are deceased.
He was raised in Wyoming, Stark County, IL, where he attended the
area schools. Father was a Medic in World War II, under
President Eisenhower who was a commander in chief at the time-- WW
II 1942-1945. He was a member of the V. F. W. and the local labor
union in Galesburg.
On May 29, 1948, he was married to Emma Mae Terpening. They had six
children living and two deceased. Gary Wayne & Linda Vowels

Saltsman, Kewanee, Edwin Wesley & Lisa Anderson, Aledo, IL; John Thomas Anderson, Altona, David Logan & Tracy

Step-grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren to carry on his legacy.
Father worked for Galesburg Construction Company, they went out of
business, and then he worked for Harland Lundeen Construction until
he retired 1989. At that time he was living two miles outside of
Galva. My father to fill his time was never idle. He planted a big
garden every year just because he like to see things grow. He never
ate half of what he grew. He would give it away to the people who
would stop out and ask about it. Fourth of July Picnics for the
fireworks in Galva. Andy was always planting flowers, trees, bushes,
mowing. He enjoyed working in the outdoors, taking photos, his dogs,
& his family. Just so much I could say here about him. Father
always had a dog. Last day, he wanted to see his Bingo, but it was
not meant to be.
