I am seeking information about or links to my ggg grandfather, ANDREW MCCLANAHAN. He was in Rowan Co, NC in the 1780's where he married SARAH COCHRAN. Around 1800 they moved to Madison Co, KY with their 10 children. Between 1800 and 1818 apparently he left his family in Madison Co and moved to White Co, Territory of IL. The last record I have been able to find of him was a lawsuit he filed from White Co. to sue Cornelious Dougherty & heirs of Madison Co, KY. I am trying to find if ANDREW MCCLANAHAN moved on from White Co. or if he died there. His son, my gg grandfather, ROBERT MCCLANAHAN left Madison Co, KY and settled in Jefferson Co, IN. about 1814 where he married LUCY DAVIS daughter of FRANCIS DAVIS of Albermarle Co, VA., who served in the American Revolution. I would appreciate any information and have information to share.
