I've always been a nut for the moon & here it was showing part of itself out. always try to get a photo but it really doesn't look like much. You can reach this cemetery either by when heading west out of Marietta, IL, on IL State Route #95., just by the old boarded up church is a road leading south. It is gravel and well maintained. You turn south here. You keep going until you see the cemetery on the right hand side of the road just after the road turns to blacktop/oiled. Or as you leaving Table Grove heading west on IL State Route #136 turn North just out of town when on the north side of the road you will see a viaduct. Turn north on this road go under the viaduct and it be on the next four corners. |
