Kate & I took these tombstone photos on Saturday, May 05, 2007, we concentrated on the older section of the cemetery. I hope we got them all back there but not quite sure. There are also a few from the newer section of the cemetery plus, some WW I & WW II Veterans. I tend to try to take the veterans tombstones first. Sometimes I get them all and sometimes I don't. But we try.

There are 106 tombstone photos in the Gallery; out of 208 tombstone photos I took. some will have more than one view of the stone depending on it. I try to get close ups for easier reading of the lettering. Many of these old stones in this older section of the cemetery have that green junk on it and makes it harder to read them; But can't spend half the day cleaning them either or I wouldn't get any photos taken. Clicking on the thumbnails will open the photos into their own viewing window. Thanks & have a an enjoyable visit.

First i would like to say Thank you so very much for putting all that effort into making a wonderful visual index of this cemetery. I have family members buried there and its a blessing to be able to see them when I live so far away.
I had noticed that you have one stone its broken by the tree listed with NO NAME on it, its next to Willam Arnold (Her husband) this

is my Gr.Gr. grandfathers brothers daughter her name is Sarah Ann Clayton she was born 1838 in Peoria, Illinois and died when she was abt 19 years old her stone is very worn but several years ago a very nice lady took a few pictures for me they are alot easier to see the lettering then the ones that you have on your site so i am attaching those for you maybe you can replace the ones that you have since you can read these, they are still not the best but due to the quality of Sarah Ann's stone they are about the best I think we will ever have.

Foxie's Note: This tombstone goes with one my photo gallery below-- William Arnold was a Civil War Vet & his wife Sarah Ann, which I couldn't read much of the tombstone. I recieved this from Susan and am adding her email along with her photo previous to when we were there and took photos the stone is in three pieces if I remember correctly. Thanks so much for sharing a little history on your Arnold family plus a photograph of the tombstone.
