Toulon Cemetery, Toulon Twp., Stark County, IL

Toulon Cemetery is located on the North East side of Toulon going out of town on Illinois Highway 91, on the right hand side of the road heading north.

Have been to the Toulon cemetery a million times. I grew up in Toulon, Illinois. Have tombstone photos of two different trips to the cemetery. Have some relatives buried here also. So, I go once a year and put out flowers and some flags. Some of the photos were taken on my older camera and some on my newer camera. Listed below is the oldest known grave in the Cemetery; John Perry,  Jane Whittaker, whose grave was marked by the Peoria Chapter, NSDAR, as being a Real Daughter, and Oliver Walker the founder of the Toulon Cemetery; Thompson Mausoleum, the big main Mausoleum.  Have the Plaque that was on the side and couple of photos of the tombstone but not close enough to read the writing on them.
