Welcome to the Clark County, Indiana GenWeb site

Your virtual portal to family history research resources for Clark County, IN, created in 1801

The INGenWeb Project

In June, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Indiana Comprehensive Genealogy Database. The idea was to provide a single entry point for all counties in Indiana, where collected databases would be stored. In addition, the databases would be indexed and cross-linked, so that even if an individual were found in more than one county, they could be located in the index. At the same time, volunteers were found who were willing to coordinate the collection of databases and generally oversee the contents of the webpages. Our names are Steve & Jeannie Noe Carlisle and Lori Hoffman we are responsible for Clark County USGenWeb site. Our thanks to our predecessors in this role Lois Mauk, Lonnie Fink and Norman Morris, for their dedication to this effort.  If you would like to contribute your information to this page, please let us know. We are interested in family histories, community histories, photos and etc.
If you would like to host a county, please contact Debby Beheler, INGENWEB State Coordinator at debralee@ingenweb.net.
