Mrs. Emeline S. LASCOLA died at her home in New Orleans, La., a few days ago. She was a daughter of the late Lewis MANN, of this county, and was born in the Mt. Tabor neighborhood, near Six Mile Switch, Oct. 21, 1842. Mrs. LASCOLA went to Louisiana with her husband about forty-two years ago and had made that place her home ever since that time. She leaves a husband, who has been in Italy for some time and who was on his way home when Mrs. LASCOLA died, and six children, all grown. Mrs. LASCOLA will be remembered by many of the older citizens of Floyd county, where she had many friends when she resided here. Mrs. LASCOLA was a member of Mt. Tabor church, this county, but had recently transferred her membership to the New Orleans Presbyterian church. The remains were buried at New Orleans. She was a sister of Mr. John Snead MANN, well known to most of our people.
