Coroner's Inquest - Morton, Harry Vol. 2 # 479

New Albany, Indiana Dec. 30, 1935
Inquest or Harry Morton

Verdict: I was called to St. Edward's Hospital on Sunday afternoon, Dec 22, 1935 where I viewed the body of Harry Morton aged about 60 years, who had died about 5:30 p. m. There was a fracture at the base of the skull and other injuries. From the evidence of witnesses and my own observations, I find that his death was caused by the fracture of the skull and injury to the brain and other injuries which he received in a collision between his car and a truck driven by Earl Liebenguth of Bloomington, Ind., at Floyd Knobs, Ind. on Dec. 21, 1935 at about 3:45 P.M. The evidence indicated that the accident was unavoidable on the part of the driver of the truck, Earl Liebenguth. C. E. Briscoe, Deputy Coroner of Floyd County, Indiana
