Israel P. PARK, who for many years was engaged in business in this city died at 2:30 o’clock Saturday, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lawrence MURPHY, at Galena. His death was due to a complication of diseases, after an illness of more than a year. Mr. PARK was 62 years of age and had resided in Floyd county practically all of his life. He was a member of DePauw Lodge of Masons and was also a member of Pawnee Tribe of Red Men and New Albany Aerie of Eagles. Mr. PARK retired from business five years ago. His wife died several years ago, and Mrs. MURPHY is his only child. Theodore PARK, of New Albany, and George Park, of Denver, are brothers, he also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Ada VanALLEN, of Schenectady, N. Y., and Miss Cora PARK, of Jersey City, N. J. The funeral took place Monday at the home of Mrs. MURPHY, and the burial was in the Galena Cemetery.
