| Coroner's Inquest - Reasor, Harry C., No. 95 Vol. 1 page-67
Inquest held in New Albany, Ind. Aug. 29, 1884 on the body of Harry C. Reasor aged (5) five years. The evidence is that the deceased was playing with his cousin Lotta Rutherford aged 12 years at the house of their relatives Sampson Sharrat four miles west of New Albany, Ind. and that Lotta Rutherford picked up from the corner of the porch a Flovest Rifle and in exhibiting it to the deceased it was discharged into his right breast lolling him almost instantly. A verdict is given that Harry C. Reasor was accidentally shot and killed by Lotta Rutherford on the afternoon of Aug. 28, 1884 and in the County of Floyd and State of Ind. John N. Lemon-Coroner
