A verdict is given that Philip Smith died in New Albany Ind. on the Evening of Sept. 8/86 of Strychnine poison taken by himself most probably with suicidal intent. J. H. Lemon, Coroner Philip M. Smith was a carpenter 63 years of age, born in Lanesville, Harrison Co., Ind. and son of Thos. A and Kate (Wiggins) Smith. No property found. J. H. L.
