Sent to Camp Jackson, S.C.; assigned to 34th Company, 3rd Provisional Regiment, 156th Depot Brigade. Transferred to 4th Battery, Automatic Replacement Draft, Field Artillery. Embarked for overseas September 22, 1918, on the Ticonderoga. Lost his life September 30, 1918, when the Ticonderoga was sunk. Survived by widow, ______ Friedman Bodkins, Canton, Ohio.
