Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky.; assigned to Battery B, 13th Training Battalion, Field Artillery Replacement Draft. Transferred to Battery D, 4th Field Artillery. Died of pneumonia December 11, 1918. Buried in Thrailkill Cemetery, near Swayzee, Ind.
