Son of Alexander and Orpha Craig; born May 30, 1894, Marion, Ind. Shoemaker. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army December 15, 1917, Marion, Ind. Sent to Jefferson Barracks, Mo.; assigned to Company G, 23rd Regiment, Engineering Corps. Transferred to Camp Meade, Md. Overseas in June, 1918. participated in battles of St. Mihiel, and St. Remy. Died of pneumonia February 10, 1919, Courancy, France. Buried, Courancy. Survived by widow, Clara May Chappell Craig, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
