Son of Charles and Catherine Creek; born October 24, 1889, Fairmount, Grant County, Ind. Mechanic. Enlisted in Indiana National Guard, Marion, Ind. April 6, 1917. Sent to Camp Shelby, Miss. Assigned to Ambulance Company, 38th Division. Transferred to Mineola, L.I. Assigned as Wagoner. Died of pneumonia October 10, 1918, at Mineola Hospital, Camp Mills. Buried in park Cemetery, Fairmount, Ind. Survived by widow, Clara Irwin Creek.
