Son of Joseph and Ida Holliday; born July 16, 1891, Frankfort, Ind. Moved to Marion, Ind. in 1902. Automobile mechanic. Enlisted in Company E, 4th Infantry, Indiana national Guard in June, 1917. Sent to Ft. Thomas, Ky.; assigned to 288th Aero Squadron, Signal Corps. Transferred to Kelly Field, Tex.; assigned to Air Service Flying School. Transferred to Mt. Clements, Mich., where he died of pneumonia December 10, 1918. Buried in Marion, Ind.
