Son of Frank W. and Ollie White; born October 10, 1891, Springdale, Pa. Moved to Grant County, Ind. in 1893. Clerk. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army June 9, 1917. Sent to Ft. Thomas, Ky.; assigned to Medical Department. Transferred to Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga.; assigned to Company C, 307th Ambulance Company for overseas duty. Died of influenza March 27, 1918, Camp Upton, N.Y., while awaiting orders to sail. Buried in Thrailkill Cemetery, Grant County, Ind.
