The Eighth Grade
Members of this class reappeared at the
beginning of the year with nearly 40 members in their group. The Eighth Graders
planned one party during the year, and it was on April 7. It was a pot-luck
supper held in the Home Economics rooms. The students bought candy, balloons and
whistles and held a treasure hunt in the gym. Mrs. Young sponsored the party.
The outstanding thing the Eighth Grade did
this year was to make a collection of knives to send to the Army boys. Several
good knives were turned in, and they were sent to a camp in California. They
also worked in the tin can drive.
Mr. Raymond Elliott is the faculty advisor.
