The Seventh Grade
These fugitives came from the North and
West Wards. They arrived at Fairmount Junior High at the beginning of the year.
They elected their officers during the first week of school.
The Seventh Graders held three parties
during the year. The first was a weiner roast at the Fairgrounds; the second was
a Valentine party held in the gym, the third was a pot-luck supper held in the
Home Economics rooms.
The Seventh Grade have brought recognition
to their class, by doing their part in the war stamp and bond drive. During both
of the contests, the Seventh Grade bought the second most stamps in the school.
They also participated in the scrap and tin
can drives.
Mrs. Myrtle Gilbreath was the class
sponsor.
