Junior Class

The activities of the year were numerous, pleasant, and profitable for the junior class. Early in the fall the juniors held a joint skating party with the seniors on September 19. This proved a very successful venture. the following month was marked by the Fall Festival, October 14, with Delores Huston as junior queen candidate and the class play, "Meet Me in St. Louis," which was presented October 20 and 21. Thus ended a busy month. Patsy Brown was hostess to a Kid Party November 20. The highlight of the year was the receiving of class rings and pins December 12. Next on the agenda and given January 26, was a Western dance sponsored by juniors in the high school gymnasium. A box social followed on February 21. Janet Roth and David Nall were elected from the junior class to attend Girl and Boy State, June 10 to 17. To end a successful year, the juniors were hosts at a prom in honor of the seniors, May 5, 1950.
