Coats............In the Meuse-Argonne offensive the foregoing named men, all of the 9th Field Signal Battalion on duty with the 6th Infantry, displayed conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty, maintaining in the face of enemy fire the several means of communication at all times. Discharged August 4, 1919.
