        Son of Alfred and Adele Saugy Kuntz; born October 5, 1895, Massillon, Ohio. Moved to Adams County, Indiana, in 1898. Watchmaker. Entered service September 2, 1918, Decatur, Indiana. Sent to Camp Grant, Illinois and was assigned to Company D, 5th Limited Service Regiment. Died of pneumonia October 4, 1918, Camp Grant, Illinois. Buried in Geneva, Adams County, Indiana.
