Entered service May 25, 1918, Decatur, Indiana. sent to Camp Taylor, Kentucky; assigned to 15th Company, 4th Battalion, 159th Depot Brigade. Transferred to Quartermaster Corps, Camp Supply Office. Died of pneumonia February 22, 1919, Camp Taylor, Kentucky. Buried in Christian Apostolic Cemetery, Wells County, Indiana.
