Elias Weart Gray..........Private

    Son of Warren G. and Alice W. Gray; born April 5, 1890, Bradford, Pennsylvania. Moved to Blackford County, Indiana in 1894. Field manager of Jarecki Manufacturing Company, Drumright, Oklahoma, when he entered service May 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Bowie, Texas. Overseas in July, 1918; assigned to Headquarters Company, 36th Division. Participated in the Champagne Offensive. Died of pneumonia October 15, 1918, Hospital, Mixte, France. The American Legion Post, Drumright, Okalahoma named in his honor.
