Assigned to 4thCompany, 1st Training Battalion, 159th Depot Brigade. Transferred to Camp Mills, NY; assigned to Company N, 47th Infantry. Sailed for France May 9, 1918. Died August 9, 1918, from wounds received in action (place unknown).
