    Son of Andrew and Louisa Bildner; born December 14, 1886, Aurora, Indiana. Employee of Royer Wheel Company, Aurora. Called into service March 29,1 918, Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Sent to Camp Taylor, Kentucky; assigned to 30th Company, 8th Battalion, 159th Depot Brigade. Overseas in June, 1918; assigned to Company B, 115th Infantry, 29th Division. Participated in battles of Alsace Sector, and Verdun Sector. Killed in action October 23, 1918. (Burial place unknown.)
