    Son of William and Martha Clark; born November 20, 1888, Alexandria, Kentucky. Moved to Dearborn County, Indiana in 1907. Farmer. Called into service June 26, 1918. Sent to Camp Sherman, Ohio; transferred to Company H, 334th Infantry. Overseas in September, 1918; transferred to Company B, 140th Infantry, 35th Division. Died of spinal meningitis December 3, 1918. Survived by widow, Ruby Clark, and one daughter, Alma Mae Clark, Harrison, Ohio.
