George Henry Johnson...........Private

    Son of John and Alice M. Johnson; born July 12, 1888, in Gallatin County, Kentucky. Educated in the schools of Ohio County, Indiana, and family later settled on a farm in Dearborn County. Called into service August 29, 1918, Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Sent to Camp Sherman, Ohio; assigned to 29th Company, 8th Training Battalion, 158th Depot Brigade. Died of influenza October 5, 1918, Camp Sherman, Ohio. Buried, Guilford, Dearborn County, Indiana.
