Cassius Cameron Baker.........Seaman, 2nd Class

    Son of Cassius S. and Sophia B. Baker; born March 29, 1899, Thomasboro, Illinois. Moved to Morgan County, Indiana in 1914. Assistant cableman. Enlisted in the U.S. Navy April 1, 1917, Indianapolis, Indiana. Trained at Great Lakes naval Training Station, Illinois. Transferred to New York; assigned to the Battleship Arizona. Died of meningitis July 7, 1917, Naval Hospital, Norfolk, Virginia. Buried in Liberty Churchyard, Martin County, Indiana.
