Orval Victor Dillon...........Sergeant

    Son of Luther and Jane Dillon; born April 4, 1888, Monrovia, Morgan County, Indiana. Attended Valparaiso University. City salesman for Schnull & Company, Indianapolis, Indiana. Entered service September 22, 1917, Indianapolis. Sent to Camp Taylor, Kentucky. Transferred to Camp Sherman, Ohio; assigned to Company L, 334th Infantry, 84th Division. Overseas September, 1918. Died of pneumonia October 10, 1918, near Razac, France. Buried at Perigueux, Dordogne, France. American Legion Post, Monrovia, Indiana named the Suit-Dillon Post.
