Son of George W. and Sarah Gannon Adams; born March 7, 1895, Haddon Township, Sullivan County, Indiana. Farmer. Entered service June 23, 1918, Sullivan, Indiana. Sent to Camp Sherman, Ohio; assigned to Medical Detachment, 334th Infantry. Sailed overseas September 2, 1918. Final assignment, Medical Supply Storage Station. Died of appendicitis May 13, 1919, Bordeaux, France. Buried in Shepherd Cemetery, seven miles southwest of Carlisle, Indiana.
