Anderson, James Arthur..............Sapper

    Son of Commodore P. and Rose Douglas Anderson; born January 22, 1896, Fairbanks Township, Sullivan County, Indiana. Enlisted in the U. S. Regular Army in 1914, Terre Haute, Indiana. Entered Canadian Army at the beginning of the War. Trained at Victoria, British Columbia. Overseas in August, 1916; assigned to 10th Canadian Railway Troops. Died of nephritis March 9, 1918, Canadian General Hospital No. 16, Orphington, Kent. Buried in Soldiers' Corner of Orphington Parish Churchyard.
