Transferred to West Point, Kentucky; assigned to Battery A, 327th Field Artillery. Embarked from Camp Mills, New York, September 9, 1918. Died of pneumonia October 7, 1918, in Base Hospital (place not known). Buried in American Cemetery, Grave No. 21, Martignas, Gironde, France.
