Assigned to Company E, 35th Infantry; transferred to Company E, 18th Infantry; to Company G, 3d Army Composite Regiment; to Company E, 63d Infantry. Private first class, March 1, 1918; private, August 1, 1918; private first class, May 5, 1919. Overseas June 14, 1917 - September 8, 1919. Battles: Montididier-Noyon, Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne. In Army of Occupation. Discharged June 4, 1920.
