Sent to Camp Sherman, Ohio; assigned to Company 21, 6th Training Battalion, 158th Depot Brigade. Died of pneumonia October 8, 1918, Camp Sherman, Ohio. Buried in Surott Cemetery, Campbell Township, Warrick County, Indiana.
