Mrs. Sarah
MCKENZIE, aged 68 years, died at the residence of Mr. John THOMAS, Geneva
township, Wednesday last. The funeral services were help Thursday.
Mrs. M. was one of the earliest settlers in this county, her residence dating
back in 1856. she was the mother of Mrs. J. H. WALTERS [Elmira], Mrs.
Jas. DRAKE [Mary Ann] and Mrs. John THOMAS [Elizabeth]. No
particular complaint was the cause of the death, but simply failing from old
age, she passed peacefully away from earth.
