SWANSON

AGNES T. SWANSON (Agnes Theresa PETERSON)

Agnes T. SWANSON, 89, a former resident of Savonburg, died Monday at

Arkhaven Nursing home. She was born Dec. 18, 1891, in Pittsburg, the

daughter of Jesse and Johanna PETERSON. On Dec. 9, 1914, she was united

in marriage to Ernest A. SWANSON. They made their home in Savonburg

until 1976 when they moved to Iola. Mr. SWANSON died June 12, 1978. Mrs.

SWANSON was a member of Friends Home Lutheran Church and Chapter No.

335, Order of the Eastern Star at Savonburg. Survivors include two sons,

Estus SWANSON of Kansas City and Lloyd SWANSON of Iola; two daughters,

Mrs. Robert (Eileen) LOGAN of Kansas City, and Mrs. Leslie (Lucille)

NORTON of Iola, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. A

brother Hugo PETERSON, died previously.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Friends Home Lutheran Church. The

Rev. Howard YOUNGBLOOM will Officiate. Burial will be in the Swedish

Cemetery at Savonburg. Memorials to the Friends Home Lutheran Church may

be left at Waugh-Yokum Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
