MARRIED.
Last Saturday evening at 8:30, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Wallingford,
Mr. John H. Brown, of this city and Miss Avilda Peck, of Akron, Ohio, were
joined in matrimony by Rev. Geo. Watts.
After the ceremony the guests were ushered into the dining room where a
bountiful supper was spread.
The groom is our popular express man, who has lived here ever since the
settlement of the county and is known to every man, woman and child in Ashland.
While the bride is a stranger in our midst, the many friends of Mr. Brown will,
in a short time, make her feel as though she had always lived here.
We join with the many friends in extending congratulations.
