OBITUARY
SARAH W. FITZSIMMONS was born July 30, 1859, in Grant county Indiana,
departed this life at her home in Ashland, Kansas, March 7, 1904, aged 47 years,
7 months and 7 days.
Deceased was married to A. W. Hoover, at Marion, Indiana, on June 12, 1874. Of
this union two sons were born, Arthur S. and A. W. Jr., who with the father
remain to mourn the loss of a wife and mother. At the age of 15 she joined the
Quaker church, of which she remained a member until Nov. 6, 1892, when she
united with the M. E. church at this place and remained a consistent member
thereof until her decease.
Mrs. Hoover was respected by all who knew her and the community will sympathize
with the bereaved relatives .
