Last Sunday at 2 o'clock p. m. Mr. Howard Benson Bryan and Miss Mary Evaline Coons were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony at the home of the bride's parents southeast of town.  Rev. T. B. Paramore performed the wedding ceremony in the presence of the relatives and a number of invited friends.  An excellent dinner was prepared for the occasion and a very sociable time was enjoyed

Mr. Bryan is a resident of Kiowa county, but does considerable trading and gets his mail in Bucklin.  He is one of the successful farmers and stockraisers of his section.

Mrs. Bryan came to Ford county with her parents in the early days and consequently is well-known and highly respected by her numerous acquaintances in Ford, Clark, and Kiowa counties.  She is a sister to one of Bucklin's leading merchants, Mr. S. E. Coons.

Mr. and Mrs. Bryan have taken up their residence on their farm in Kiowa county and THE BANNER with their numerous friends desires to offer hearty congratulations, and many thanks for a box of excellent wedding cake that found its way to our sanction.
