Bucklin Standard, August 4, 1887
Mrs. Wilson living near Concord died last Friday morning at an early hour after
a brief sickness. It seems the interring of the remains was done very hastily
and clandestine, but for what purpose this was done, is not known. The funeral
was to have been at ten o'clock Saturday, but at that time the neighbors who
gathered to attend the funeral were indeed surprised to find that the corpse had
been buried. It is supposed the remains were given to the grave during the
night.
